My, my, it’s Monday! – 13/07/20

Greetings Platypuses,

It’s the final Monday of term! My, my!

Over the course of this last week try to finish up anything you haven’t completed like coding on and the work on Google Classroom. Google Classroom will continue to be used in some capacity next year so it would be great practise to use it now.

Well done for all your great Beegu work over the last two weeks. Mr Fielder and I have really enjoyed reading it and have been very impressed by how much effort you put into your work and what super progress you have made.

For our final week we are back to BBC Bitesize, which today is focusing on story writing. What a great follow-up to the work we have been doing!

This week we are revising time.

Topic – Transport

In our final lesson on out topic of transport we will review some of our learning about how transport has changed over time and think about what transport might be like in the future.

On google classroom go over the lesson presentation attached and complete the History of Transport Review Quiz so we can see how much great learning you have been doing!

In you blue books or on paper draw a design for your own form of transport in the future. Think about what you don’t like about how you travel at the moment, what could be made better? Please take a picture of your designs and send them in to the year 1 email address – we would love to see your ideas.

+ an added art bonus!

How to draw an old-fashioned aeroplane :

Let’s finish with a story…

What did you most enjoy learning about today?

Do stay in touch.
