Thirsty Thursday – 09/07/20

Greetings Platypuses,

In science today you will find that some flowers might be thirsty…hence the name for today’s blog!

It’s now time to write your story! Use your story frame from yesterday as well as any word banks you created and write your very own story of Beegu.

This is the story of Dr Mae Jemison, the first black female astronaut. You have heard of her before, when we learnt about space in Reception and in the book ‘Look Up!’ she is the astronaut that Rocket so admires.
