You should always have pride in who you are, as long as you are being your best self, and later on today we are going to learn about a special celebration called Pride.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! I would like to invite you to each send in a photo of yourself so that we can put together our very own class photo! This year we sadly couldn’t take one with everyone together like normal but we shouldn’t let that stop us from having one! If everyone sends in a photo we can put them together and then all of you can have a copy emailed out. So, please send in your photos as soon as possible and make sure nobody but yourself is in the photo unless it is a sibling who is also in Platypus class. Thank you 🙂
Now on with the learning…
Remember to send in your pupil comments for your report, as explained in yesterday’s blog. These are due on Friday.
If you haven’t done those yet then please work on those today. If you have then move onto BBC Bitesize where today you will be practising your creative writing skills by taking part in the national Writing Day Challenge!
Here are the answers to yesterday’s work:
Today we are Comparing Numbers (Lesson 3):
PSHCE (Personal, Social, Health & Citizenship Education) & RSE (Relationships & Sex Education)
Pride is all about being proud of ourselves and the many, wonderful families we come from.
Now let’s enjoy this lovely story about the importance of love in a family and all the different ways a family can be family.
Let’s finish with a story…
What did you enjoy learning about today?
Stay in touch and remember to send in your pupil comments for the reports please!
Thinking of you,
